Why We're Here
We were started by finance professionals and changemakers with a shared vision for a different kind of financial services company—one committed to addressing the inequity created by the system itself. Given that less than one-third of US adults are financially healthy, we aim to serve those who could benefit most from financial wellness support.
We’ve researched and continue to research the role of financial products in the lives of many communities that haven’t been equitably served by traditional banks—immigrants, undocumented Americans, food service workers, single caregivers and so many more.
We realize that there is a meaningful gap between traditional financial offerings and the way money works in the communities we are focused on supporting. We’re here to help close that gap, bringing those individuals, families, and communities closer to their financial goals and aspirations as they define and achieve financial wellness.
